Accommodation

The place that you live in Valemount is an important part of the program. We want you to feel welcomed into our town. All of the accommodation options are guaranteed to be clean, comfortable and safe. We also chose accommodation that is close to the school and to town, so that you can bicycle or walk to class.

Below are the different accommodations options that are available at RMEC.

All prices listed below are in Canadian Dollars.

Home-stay:

Staying with a family in their home (home-stay) provides the best immersion experience. You will have many opportunities to speak English with them. You will also eat meals with them and accompany your hosts on trips or to events. In your home-stay, you will have your own private bedroom with a bed, desk, and dresser. The home-stay includes 3 meals per day.

Access to laundry & internet
3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Great opportunity to practice English and become immersed in local culture

Shared Accommodation:

Shared accommodation provides a private room for students and shared kitchen, bathroom, and common areas. You will live with other students and travellers. The shared house is near to RMEC so you can walk or bicycle to class.

*You are responsible for your own meals

Opportunity to live with and interact with other students and travellers from around the world

Private Apartment:

We can also arrange a private apartment for you to live in. You can live alone, or with a friend or partner. The apartments are in Valemount and very close to RMEC. You can walk or bicycle to classes.
